Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all coaching programmes and lessons booked with LanguageInTuition. By enrolling in a programme, you agree to them.
1. Who I am
LanguageInTuition is operated by [full legal name], trading as LanguageInTuition, based at [business address], United Kingdom. Contact: info@languageintuition.com.
2. The services
I provide one-to-one language coaching delivered online (video call). Each programme's content, number of sessions and duration are described on the programme page at the time of enrolment. Session recordings, exercises and vocabulary lists are provided for your personal use only.
3. Booking and payment
- Prices are stated in pounds sterling. VAT is not charged ([confirm VAT status]).
- Payment is due on enrolment, before the first session.
- Instalment option (Accelerator and Transformation): 50 % on enrolment, the remaining 50 % 30 days later. Instalments are interest-free.
- If an instalment is overdue, sessions are paused until payment is received. Scheduled sessions are not lost — they resume once the account is up to date.
4. Scheduling, rescheduling and attendance
- Sessions are booked through my online calendar.
- You may reschedule a session free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are counted as delivered.
- Programme sessions should be completed within the programme window (the duration shown at enrolment plus 4 weeks' grace).
5. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your enrolment within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, for a full refund. If you ask to start your sessions within this 14-day period, you agree that any sessions already delivered will be deducted from the refund at the programme's per-session rate. To cancel, email info@languageintuition.com.
6. Refunds after the cooling-off period
After the 14-day period, programmes are non-refundable except as provided by the Progress Guarantee or where required by law. If I am unable to continue delivering a programme, you will be refunded for all undelivered sessions.
7. Progress Guarantee
The Progress Guarantee and its conditions are described on the Progress Guarantee page, which forms part of these terms.
8. Recordings and materials
Sessions are recorded for your revision. Recordings and all course materials are for your personal use and may not be shared or published. I do not use your recordings publicly without your written consent.
9. Liability
I will deliver the services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. I am not responsible for outcomes that depend on factors outside the sessions, such as exam administration by third parties.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
