A guarantee that works both ways.
Every programme comes with my Progress Guarantee: if you honour the commitment below and there is no measurable progress against your initial language assessment by the halfway point of your programme, I keep coaching you for free until you make real progress.
What "measurable progress" means
At the start of your programme, we complete a CEFR-aligned language assessment that establishes your level in speaking, listening, reading and writing. At the halfway point, we take the same assessment again, against the same criteria. Both results are recorded in writing and shared with you. Progress is judged on that comparison — not on a feeling.
Your commitment as a student
Real progress in a language is a partnership: I bring the method, you bring the practice. The guarantee applies when, over the first half of the programme, you have:
In the sessions
- Attended at least 90 % of your scheduled sessions
- Rescheduled rather than cancelled, with at least 24 hours' notice
- Completed the initial and halfway assessments — they are how we measure your progress
- Participated actively: speaking, trying, making mistakes — that is where the learning happens
Between the sessions
- Completed the homework set between sessions
- Revised regularly and independently — around 15 minutes a day beats 2 hours once a week
- Worked through the tailor-made Quizlet lists created after each session
- Used the tools and resources provided (session recordings, exercises, feedback)
- Applied the corrections from one session to the next, rather than repeating the same errors untouched
Throughout the programme
- Kept regular contact with French outside our sessions: listening, reading or watching something in French most days, using the resources I recommend
- Followed the agreed pace, completing your sessions within the programme window rather than spreading them out
- Told me when something isn't working — a blocked topic, a method that doesn't suit you, a difficult week — so we can adjust early instead of losing time
- Responded to check-ins and progress reviews so the plan stays on track
None of this is difficult. It is simply what progress requires — and every one of my successful students did it. If you do your part and the progress isn't there, the risk is on me, not on you.
